“People have said that I’m frugal with my praise for others。 Perhaps it’s because I always expect those around me to give their best。 Unfortunately, it’s a fact that always giving our best is not in our nature。 Rather, it’s in our nature to take the easy way out。 Being better than that and giving our best every day with a positive attitude is what makes us special。 This Is the Day puts that notion in perspective。 Tim Tebow gives the reader tools to make one’s goals and dreams a reality。 I admire Timmy as a friend and a philosopher of the game and life。 He speaks from experience and from the heart。”
—Nick Saban, head football coach, University of Alabama

“I know it can be challenging to live with passion or to stay motivated。 Through personal experience and heart-warming stories, my dear friend Tim Tebow shows you how。 Learn the little and big changes you can make to transform your life and, in the exciting process, impact the world around you!”
—Robin Roberts, Good Morning America

“Often, we connect the phrase ‘follow your dreams’ into self-oriented goals we want to accomplish。 Tim Tebow is all about living your dreams, but in a way that’s meaningful—not just to become rich or famous or to look or feel good。 This Is the Day is about becoming the person God created you to be and living a life filled with purpose。”
—Richard Petty, seven-time NASCAR Championship winner

“No matter your gender, how old you are, your background, how much money you have (or don’t) in the bank, there’s something for everyone to enjoy in this book。 Find practical ways to start living a life that means something instead of letting life keep you down。”
—Jamie Foxx, Oscar and Grammy Award winner

“I have followed Tim Tebow for many years and have always been so grateful for his strong, unswerving Christian testimony。 His boldness and strength of character consistently inspire those around him, and his new book, This Is the Day, will continue to inspire many more。 The Bible encourages us to make the most of the time we are given。 With Jesus Christ at the center of our lives, there is no limit to what He can accomplish through us。”
—Franklin Graham, president and CEO of Samaritan’s Purse and the BGEA

“This is the day” is a very good book。 Tim Tebow did such an amazing job writing the book。 It was very inspiring and motivational。 He made you want to get up and do something in this world。 Tim Tebow is a chirstan so he talks about his stories of being a chirstan。 As an example the man in the plane。 He prayed with a family whose member is going through a cardiac arrest and supports them along the way。 Even though the gentleman did not make it the family thanked Tim for all the support and prayer。 Tim also motivates christans to get better with God and show non believers the ways of christanity and how God can help you get through this life to get to and even better one with him。 He also tells show stories about his sports career and how he managed his relationship with God。

Another inspiring book by Tim Tebow! Written with deep passion and compassion。 Great material for Bible study especially of teens and twenties。 Regardless Of the readers age this book raises questions we all should consider including how to make each day count!

I enjoyed this book! Reading it feels like getting to sit down to lunch with Tim Tebow and just listening while he tells stories and goes off on tangents about inspiring topics and spiritual truths and loving people well。 His voice comes through with friendly, contagious joy。

Mr。 Tebow provides many real-life experiences and ways of thinking to get you to be more inspired to impact the world and people around you on a daily basis。 The book is a Christian-based writing, so the thought behind everyday acts is to help the world see Jesus Christ through your everyday actions。 One thing I gathered from this book was that Tim has a heart of gold when it comes to giving and fostering hope to so many people around the world。 This book was easy to read and understand all the Mr。 Tebow provides many real-life experiences and ways of thinking to get you to be more inspired to impact the world and people around you on a daily basis。 The book is a Christian-based writing, so the thought behind everyday acts is to help the world see Jesus Christ through your everyday actions。 One thing I gathered from this book was that Tim has a heart of gold when it comes to giving and fostering hope to so many people around the world。 This book was easy to read and understand all the way through and will leave you inspired to be better today! 。。。more

First book review, I felt very strongly about this book, both in positive and negative ways。 Halfway through I wished there were half-star options so I could give this piece a 2。5, but then interspersed were moments I personally resonated with and that inarguably felt uplifting and genuine。 All said, the book had 4 star moments and 2 star moments, but by the end I felt comfortable giving it something in between。First thing to note, the book certainly had a proselytizing aspect to it。 Frequent me First book review, I felt very strongly about this book, both in positive and negative ways。 Halfway through I wished there were half-star options so I could give this piece a 2。5, but then interspersed were moments I personally resonated with and that inarguably felt uplifting and genuine。 All said, the book had 4 star moments and 2 star moments, but by the end I felt comfortable giving it something in between。First thing to note, the book certainly had a proselytizing aspect to it。 Frequent mention of the Christian God and the like as well as calls to welcome oneself into the Christian fold were a part of this book, and while I'll not say this was a bad part of the book, its something to be aware of going into reading it。 A general chapter-by-chapter formula is as follows:1。 Brief ethical assertion2。 Use of (sometimes problematic) story to underscore said assertion3。 Analysis/elaboration of said assertion。It's not a bad formula, but something that would occasionally glare at these stories was the placement of gratuitous details that made the book feel like less of a genuine evaluation of an issue and more like a spotlight on the good deeds of Tebow。 I'm certainly not going to knock Tebow for the amount of good-heartedness and genuine kindness carried out by himself and others in the story, but it was easy for me to feel at times as though his own personal fulfillment of his work took the foreground in his attention excessively。 With sufficient context to imply that the person in question needed help, a beneficiary of Tebow's kindness was intentionally introduced/noted as being African American before the rest of the story is told (is this to make us pity him more thus underlining a supposed generosity from Tebow?)。 Other single snippets of the relayed anecdotes include what seem to be totally irrelevant or disjointed sections of text that serve no other purpose than to let the reader know that Tebow is a famous guy。 E。G。 in the middle of a story about Tebow doing an act of good will, sentences in the middle of the tale note that bystanders would be surprised at/impressed to see/ask for autographs from/wonder at Mr。 Tebow。 It's a little jarring to be reminded multiple times each chapter how popular this guy is in public。Aside from moments like these though that cast the enjoyment of the book into question at times, the message by and large was something I found powerful。 It's quite difficult to make what is at it's root "live each day to your fullest and work hard for what you believe in" a captivating message to hear, with it having become quite cliche and shallow feeling in our society。 While the book doesn't always accomplish conveying nuance in this message, it does at times, and the times it does are quite wonderful and inspiring。 To inspire vitality and passion for life is not an easy thing to accomplish, and the way this book is arranged seems effective in conveying that to it's audience (what I imagine to be predominantly middle class conservative-leaning whites, but let me note it's not a *bad* thing that this is his audience, it's just something to note)。 This book's message is simple and driven home quite persistently, though to some it could come off as heavy handed。While not a book for everyone, and at times feeling more about Tebow and what he had to say than a grander narrative, the book's message still rings as important and relatable if you're willing to meet the story half-way and salvage pieces of good inside it。 。。。more

I admire his strength in faith and action。 His dedication and enthusiasm for helping others and doing good is fantastic!!He gave encouragement throughout the book。 I want to give this book 5 stars but felt the flow and readability of the book to be choppy and at times hard to follow。 Overall very interesting but at times I felt I wanted more details of the situations he found himself in。

I appreciate the fact that Tim Tebow projects an authentic Christian message and witness in this book and in his life。 But, unless you are a sports fan, you probably won't enjoy reading the many stories he includes about his athletic experiences on football fields and baseball diamonds。 I also didn't see the point of including detailed descriptions of all of his sports injuries。Mr。 Tebow's generous sponsorship and support of charities supporting the disabled is laudable。 He earns my respect for I appreciate the fact that Tim Tebow projects an authentic Christian message and witness in this book and in his life。 But, unless you are a sports fan, you probably won't enjoy reading the many stories he includes about his athletic experiences on football fields and baseball diamonds。 I also didn't see the point of including detailed descriptions of all of his sports injuries。Mr。 Tebow's generous sponsorship and support of charities supporting the disabled is laudable。 He earns my respect for that, but much of this book is boring unless you're really into sports。Overall, this is an uplifting motivational book, if you're looking for one。 Personally, I think there are better ones out there。 Before deciding to read this one, read a few reviews and proceed with caution。 。。。more

Tim Tebow is known for many things。 He has played football and baseball but is also known as a man who can be trusted。 Tim travels a lot for his sports and his foundation and meets many different people along the way。 He feels the need to talk to those around him and help when he can。 He isn’t perfect though。 There are times when he doesn’t do what he feels is right and when he feels convicted, he promises himself he will take action the next time an opportunity arises。 In This is the Day, Tebow Tim Tebow is known for many things。 He has played football and baseball but is also known as a man who can be trusted。 Tim travels a lot for his sports and his foundation and meets many different people along the way。 He feels the need to talk to those around him and help when he can。 He isn’t perfect though。 There are times when he doesn’t do what he feels is right and when he feels convicted, he promises himself he will take action the next time an opportunity arises。 In This is the Day, Tebow motivates readers to stop pausing with their actions and press play to learn what they can do for those around them。 This book is full of stories from Tim’s own life and readers will be inspired to try harder and continue to see what their life has planned for them。 。。。more

This was a borderline 2 star for me。 I like Tim Tebow (I especially like that Bama made him cry in the 2009 SEC Championship!) :)。 Seriously though, I really like Through My Eyes (his first book), and I look forward to sharing it with my 5-year old boy some day。 However, This is the Day is not good。 It's basically a collection of stories that don't have any connection to each other thrown into a book。 Every chapter has several stories and I almost always had no idea how things go together。 I lik This was a borderline 2 star for me。 I like Tim Tebow (I especially like that Bama made him cry in the 2009 SEC Championship!) :)。 Seriously though, I really like Through My Eyes (his first book), and I look forward to sharing it with my 5-year old boy some day。 However, This is the Day is not good。 It's basically a collection of stories that don't have any connection to each other thrown into a book。 Every chapter has several stories and I almost always had no idea how things go together。 I like quotable books, this is not one of them。Favorite quotes: p。 116 - "Striving to get better at anything takes discipline。 You've got to live sore。 You've got to make sacrifices。 You may hurt today, but you'll be better for it tomorrow。"That's all I've got。 。。。more

I loved this book, I've been a big fan of Tim Tebow since I was young。 His book helps capture the essence of perseverance and strength。 There are very few people I feel that are like Tebow, in how much faith they have in both themselves and God。 I found it inspirational how much his o parents influenced Tim as both a son but as son of God。 His parents dedication to missionary work, clearly rubbed off on him。 As it is clear Tebow attempts to help spread the love of God throughout the World。 I wou I loved this book, I've been a big fan of Tim Tebow since I was young。 His book helps capture the essence of perseverance and strength。 There are very few people I feel that are like Tebow, in how much faith they have in both themselves and God。 I found it inspirational how much his o parents influenced Tim as both a son but as son of God。 His parents dedication to missionary work, clearly rubbed off on him。 As it is clear Tebow attempts to help spread the love of God throughout the World。 I would definitely suggest this book to anyone who feels down, and needs a source of transpiration。 This book after reading it had me feeling like I could accomplish anything I put my mind too。 。。。more
